BEE Z HIVE
SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS
Using your Bee Z Custom Tool, carefully insert it between the two hive boxes you are planning to separate.
Lift the upper box just enough to insert the Bee Z Lift Shim into the center between boxes. Insert Bee Z Lift Shim deep enough to keep boxes separated for the insertion of the Hive Lifter Bags. Leave the shim in far enough so it will not fall out when the upper box is lifted.
Slide one Bee Z Hive Lift Bag between the hive boxes on the left and right side, using printed arrow to center the bag on each edge between boxes.
Pump the Bee Z Hive Lift Bags simultaneously, watching the upper box(es) for stability. Stop pumping when bag is full - do not over pump. (Note: If there is resistance due to propolis or cross combing between the top and bottom frames, use your Bee Z Custom tool to carefully cut through the propolis/wax.)
Remove Bee Z Lift Shim. Set aside. (If you have a Bee Z Handy Folding Table it is perfect for setting your wedge on.)
Place Bee Z Bright LED Flashlight on top edge of bottom hive box, thus illuminating the area between the boxes.
Place your choice of pest treatment on your Bee Z Custom Tool or on top of the bottom box frames and push and/or slide into the hive. Position treatments as per product instructions. Once the treatment is in place, remove Bee Z Custom Tool. (When removing prior treatments, use the bladed edge to cut through wax/propolis and rotate tool to position hooks to pull out used treatment.)
Remove Bee Z Bright LED Flashlight.
Insert Bee Z Lift Shim in center of hive box opening (same position as indicated in step two).
Release Bee Z Hive Lift Bag by simultaneously pressing both buttons.
Remove remaining air out of bag by folding bag up or down against side of hive box and press.
Slide Bee Z Hive Lift Bags out.
Using Bee Z Custom Hive Tool, insert it between the two hive boxes to pry the upper box away from the shim to release it.
Remove Bee Z Lift Shim.
